checking again for any reccomendations for child care for a 3 month old beginning in June...either in home or in center...also, any ideas on what the going rate is for a nanny in the area?

I'm just over the city line in Baltimore County, near Charles St. and Lake Ave. I'm going to be staying home with my boys starting this fall and am interested in looking after another child. I'm not sure if that helps or not since you said June.

Check the Care.com website for potential nannies. The Baltimore City Child Care Resource Center (bcccrc.org) is a great resource when looking for daycare, esp. in-home daycare (as opposed to centers). They have staff to help guide parents.

I live in middle river and am a member of care.com. I have a 6 mth old of my own. I woh pt a few hrs a week, but other then that am a sahm. I have worked in homes and centers, with multiples and special needs cases. pm if you'd like.
