Anyone have positive experience finding a family prac. or ped. in the Eau Claire or Menomonie areas? We're looking for someone who supports extended breastfeeding and true parent choice for vax. Homebirth supporter would be good, too, but I may be asking a bit much, I know.

Don't need homeopaths or NDs, since we can't pay for them... But a good rec. is still welcome

My midwife's husband is a Dr. in Menomonie. Dr. Mike Fiegel. He is her backup doctor and has supported her venture with getting her birth center going. I believe he is very mother friendly. I hope that helps.

I am late posting here if you have liked your Ped.

Just in case we go to OakLeaf Pediatrics in Eau Claire. We do not vaccinate, co-slept, breastfed, etc. and they didn't bat an eye. Two women Peds. and we have had them both. We are very comfortable with them.

He was pretty good for us, didn't pressure us too much about the vax, just a bit about tetanus.

Could you PM me the names of the peds? I wonder if they're covered by Atrium...
