I did a small amount of research this morning because I was sure the chart said I was having a GIRL, but my best friend said she was sure it said I was having a BOY.<br><br>
Here are only 3 of the charts I found. They have conflicting information! So, apparently this doesn't help at all. (Not that I put all, or any belief in this really, but it is fun!)<br><br>
BTW: I'm 24 and conceived in October.<br><br><a href="http://mothering.com/chinese-gender-prediction-calendar" target="_blank">http://mothering.com/chinese-gender-prediction-calendar</a><br><br><a href="http://www.thebump.com/calculators/ChineseGenderChart.aspx" target="_blank">http://www.thebump.com/calculators/C...nderChart.aspx</a><br><br><a href="http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/pregnancy-chart-gender-selection/howitwork.html" target="_blank">http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/p...howitwork.html</a>

Use one that converts your western age into a lunar age. The Chinese measure age differently and that will color your result.<br><br>
This one does the conversion for you:<br><br><a href="http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/index.html" target="_blank">http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/index.html</a>

According to the first link on the first post, my first two were wrong, and this one will be a boy.<br><br>
According to the lunar link on the second post, my first two were CORRECT, and this one will be a girl.

The Chinese Gender Chart has been correct for all 3 of my kids, as long as I use the lunar month conversion. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin">

the one I consulted confirmed my boy suspicions - however, a super advanced ultrasound told us "girl". So I wouldn't trust it! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile">

I am glad I am not the only one who has noticed that! - Cause I swore when I was pregnant with my DS, all the charts said girl. So in that case, they were wrong. Of course now when I look at the charts, it says boy (for when I figure everything in correct for when I conceived DS)...for this one it says girl - but 'boy' for age corrected one.

Well, the lunar one says I am having a girl, five consecutive u/s's say boy.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/orngbiggrin.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="orange big grin"> I guess we will see soon enough! (DH would be happy to find it is a girl!)

Interesting! I found this one before, but without the explanation at the beginning. So, this says BOY! (I used the first link.)

it was right for my first two, and my hunch and the chart both are girl this time, though we don't yet know via u/s. anyway, I think it may be right three for three for me.

The one that converts your age by the chinese calendar has been accurate for each of my pregnancies.

I conceived in March at age 25, so it says boy for me. I think it's a girl, but we'll see!

Chart #1<br>
Wrong for for Child #1 and #3<br>
Right for child #2 and #4<br><br>
Chart #2<br>
Wrong for Child #2,#3, and #4<br>
Right for child #1<br><br>
Chart #3<br>
Wrong for Child #1, #2 and #3<br>
Right for child #4<br><br>
This pregnancy:<br>
Chart #1 and #3 says G<br>
Chart #2 says B<br><br>
So, no telling this time. I would almost say #1 has better accuracy for me, but with my Odd # children it is wrong, so that would mean it is currently saying Girl, so I would have a Boy. I hope not, I already have two of those and would like another little girl.

I have found that if I "convert" my age- it comes out as 34, but if I don't it comes out as 33.. SO, I conceived in a month that said "girl" for both columns...<br><br>
you know, just to cover my bases. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

My "age corrected" one was correct; the other one was wrong.

With conversion, it was right for first baby. For this, it says a girl, and at 20 weeks u/s we could see very clearly, that it's a boy. So wrong!
