We've always known and the therapists have reiterated that Devon lower spine has a smiget of curve. No one is saying scoliosis but everyone said it is something we have to watch. The left side of her trunk is more dev. muscularly than the right and the muscle on the left is pushing the spine to the right.

Question is, I'd like to have an x-ray done as a baseline and follow up annually. Do I go to a chiro. for this? If not, which specialist would I go to?

You know for something like that I would go to an MD who specializes in scoliosis. The one I saw when I was a child was an orthopedist but I'm sure it varies. The one I saw prescribed exercises and of course monitored. Perhaps your pediatrician could tell you if specailist is where you need to go.
I love chiro but I wouldn't rely on them for something that might possibly be an actual spinal curvature/scoliosis in such a young child. You could always use chiro to try to help though.

I agree with Rachelle...

Rebekah has been seeing a chiro since she was 2 months old. She goes once a month and we adore her chiro. However, we also saw a pediatric orthopedist who did x-rays of hips, pelvis and spine. She said kids with hypotonia are at risk for scoliosis and she will see Rebekah annually to monitor her spine, etc.
