DD is only 1 year but I am getting her a Xylaphone.

Our daughter will be 20 months at Christmas.

We are giving her:
- child's wooden table and chairs from Ikea.
- very basic little wooden train set from Ikea.
- CD of nursery rhymes ("Wee Sing Children's Songs & Fingerplays").
- a picture book.

In her stocking, she'll be getting:
- four small plastic wild animals (giraffe, elephant, hippo, cheetah).
- sunglasses (she wants to wear glasses soooo much!).

My parents are giving her:
- small farm set with animals, a tractor, and a barn.
- rhythm instruments (Melissa and Doug "band in a box").

Her other grandparents already gave her their gift, an assortment of winter clothes.

If I didn't already think this was enough stuff, I would strongly consider a set of Duplo blocks - you know, like Legos but much bigger. Or play dishes and food. (We're planning to get her a kitchen for her 2nd birthday.)

DD will be 20 months at Christmas, and we are getting her The Learning Tower. One set of grandparents will get the puppet thingie that goes with it, that turns it into a puppet theatre. She LOVES puppets right now. And the other set of grandparents will probably get her a subscription to the new Highlights magazine, aimed at 2-5 yo's. I got the first issue and it was pretty neat. That way she'll have something new to read and color on every month. We will also get her a wooden art easel. She loves to paint so this will be perfect for her.

My dd will be 16 months at christmas. So far, I only have playsilks for her. I'd like to get her some kind of push buggy for dolls or a push wagon. I also want to get her a ride on like this;
http://www.monkeybeantoys.com/produc...rikeRider.aspx
because she already loves to try and ride her big brothers tricycle. I also want to get some more Baby Dazzler books because she loves them.

We actually went nutty this year. Some of the big items are a blow up ball pit and a ESPN Championship basketball net. There is one at his daycare and he loves it. Throws the ball from the bottom to the top, but will eventually get it! We are also getting a potty chair. DS is 18 months currently. Also a Littel Tykes baseball tee.

What kind of doll strollers are you getting for your 18 month kids? My dd is 18 months and would love a doll stroller to push around but I haven't been able to find one small enough for her to see over (except for the umbrella style, but her brothers sitting in it will break them ) Any suggestions?

DD will be 20mo this holiday season...

DH is making her a wooden kitchen and the grandparents are contributing "fake" food and cookware.

DD is in love with trains, trucks, cars, etc so we're looking for toys and books along those lines. We found some inexpensive trucks at a local store an might o back for those.

We bought her an alphabet board...dry erase board on one side, chalk board on the other side, both sides are magnetic and it comes with magnetic alphabet shapes made from wood. It's really nice and DD is very gung ho about letters and numbers.

We'd love to gt an easle and art supplies too...but that may have to wait till her b-day since our budget is always tight this time of year.

DS2 (17 months on Christmas) is getting a xylophone and a set of wooden stacking blocks.

I'm not sure what will be in his stocking, except for a maraca (I bought a pair - one for him, and one for dd).

For my 18 month old I'm going to raid the basement of DD's old toys and maybe get one or two new things. We don't have much in the way of boy toys, he loves trucks and cars and so I'll probably give him some of those. I am already cringing thinging about how many more toys we'll have after christmas.

DD will be 2 for christmas. I'm making her a wooden play stove to go with the sink I made for her play kitchen. We're buying her some musical instruments (probably Melissa and Doug), and some cowgirl jeans.
There'll probably be a play phone, books, bath crayons, and a small holiday stuffed animal in her stocking.
My parents are getting her a ride-on spring horse, a wooden toaster w/toast and butter, and some cowgirl apparel.
No idea what the ILs are getting her.
