Does anyone have or know where I can find a pattern for a tree skirt? I have searched everywhere and found 2 that are basically the same and very plain, so I was just wondering if there are other prettier ones out there. Thanks.

I hate Lopi (the yarn used in the first one) with the fire of a thousand suns, but the tree skirt is sure pretty. The second one is STUNNING, though! WOW! I'd use that one forever.

Thanks ladies! I had seen that book online but wasn't sure of it's contents, it looks like it has some really nice stuff. I really like the floral skirt.

Another option: I made a simple muslin skirt a few years ago~ Each year I have the kids put thier hand prints on the skirt with paint~ It is a great visual of their growing up years!

I am making that one!!!!! I just ordered the yarn yesterday. If the OP, or anyone else, decides to make it, PM me for yarn ideas. I ended up going with a different yarn to get the cost down. There is also a thread about this where I got a lot of help on that journey. It was difficult to find a yarn that was affordable, the right weight, AND had enough color choices to get a close match. I cannot WAIT until my yarn comes. And I am going to have to make the matching stocking first because dd does not have one.
