Ditto!

DD1 and DD2 both fall about the same place on the growth charts, around 80th percentile for height and 10th percentile for weight.

DH is long and lean, I'm just long!

Ds is 9 mos & 17 lbs, 29 in... definitely long & lean. I was the same way as a baby, so I think it is just in the genes, not much we can do. The advice I have gotten is to feed good fat foods like avocado & olive oil.
I know what you mean though... I have chubby baby envy too Those little rolls are just too cute!

Lean here: 9.5 months, 17 pounds. Eats whatever we offer and has had no tummy troubles _ever_ (knock wood), but is pretty skinny. Her thighs are kind of chunky, but her top is small.

Like mother, like daughter, I guess. Like Grandma, like ma, like daughter, even.

I've been trying eggs, but DH is worried about the cholesterol from getting so much egg yolk. I don't know if I should worry with him - I know babies are supposed to have high fat diets b/c they need the calories, but high fat and high cholesterol are not necessarily the same thing. I can't get good avocados out here to save my life. Any other suggestions, other than deep-fried twinkies? (Tempura fried bananas might be kind of good, maybe I'll try that.)

I've had both

Currently my nursling is big enough to say she's not thin, but tall enough top not have rolls...does that make sense?

Ok she was rolly polly, but she has gotten longer and leaner.

The one before her was tiny and thin...he still is.

The 2 before that were big lolol

DH and I are short and thin (well I was before I had my baby anyway ) so I don't know where it comes from!!!

I've had two lean, muscly breastfed babies now. It made no difference to their body types when they started to eat a lot more solids, either. They're just on the lean side. I hope for their sake that they can stay that way! I'm doing my best to help them have healthy dietary habits.

My older one at 12 months was just under 20 pounds, and this little one was 18.6 pounds at 12 months. They've both been sized for easy babywearing!

I got a chunker here at 2 months she was 16 lbs 4 oz. I don't know what she is now at almost 3 months, but I imagine she's gained some.

DD started off chubby (10 lbs at birth) but now at 9 months she is a bit leaner. I'm not sure how much she weighs, but she definitely didn't stay on the same growth curve she was on!
