Simple-- the election is over. There are more important things to do now, like slashing social security and plundering the environment.
Our soldiers in Iraq just recently suffered from one of the worst casualty days for troops yet. How much did you hear about it?
I apologize, although entirely tongue in cheek, for my cynicism knows no bounds with this one.
What will it take? More planes into buildings? Small pox? (Hey, did anyone btw catch the headline on CNN yesterday that "Experts Predict Tsunami Will Lessen Terrorism?") Take that one and run with it, folks... because we all know how terrorism is a shrinking violet in radically destabilized countries, right?
