How does voting on these "polls" make any difference at all?? Am I missing something? Personally, I don't see what good it does for us all to vote and if a bunch of people want to vote in favour of circumcision, what does it matter?

Well, I think if uneducated people are pro-circ by default, seeing the results of a poll like that in favor of intact might give them something to think about/research.

A: becuase the Pro-circ crowd may see them. It may influnce them to think twice about the "everybody does this" rationale. That is always good!
