Hi there, we have two Foogo Sippy cups that have what appears to be black mold growing on the yellow lids. Does anyone have any tricks to get this stuff off? We don't have a dishwasher but wash with HOT soapy water at least once a day. I've tried soaking them in peroxide but that didn't seem to help at *ALL*
I'd really rather not just throw these away, but I can't find replacement parts so not sure...

Is it in little crevices or is it like on a flat surface that no matter how you scrub at it won't come off, likes it's stained in there?

For crevices I have been known to use toothpicks to detail sippie cups...

If it's the staining thing, I don't know. I just found a baby toy from my son's out in the back yard and I tried to clean it up and the plastic has these weird black stains ... kind of icky. Very weird.

Hmm. Ok, well I might be trying some of these methods, but regardless I just orderd 4 replacent lids for the sippy's and 3 replacment straw sets for the straw cup we have... I hope they come quickly! All that with shipping was $15 so not too bad, I suppose... certainly cheaper than buying a bunch of new stuff!!

I called the main customer service line as recommended on another forum (1-800-831-9242). Sippy cup spout sets are $2 and straw cup straw sets are $1, plus shipping... I orderd 4 spouts and 3 straws, for a total of $15... well worth it, IMO!!
