I know that this is an odd question, but how do you clean the harness straps on your stroller? Both kids love to chew and suck on the straps :yuck! The straps aren't removable from what I can see and I think that the grotty straps may be contributing to the illness at our house.

What do you do to clean the straps? Am I weird for worrying about this?

I'd have to go look at my straps, but the upper portion of the straps should come off because you can adjust them. The crotch and hip bits are sewn in but I can't imagine that's what they've got in their mouths...

To adjust the upper bits, you've got to slide your hand up into the back of the seat cover from the bottom and the end of the strap has a plastic bit on it that has to be turned to fit through the slot on the child's side. Fantastic description, eh? It's not complicated but it's not the easiest thing to do because you've got your arm wedged up inside the cover. My buggy is a 2004 so I have no idea if/how the design has changed.

Good luck!
