What can I use to clean my wood floors naturally? DH hates the water/vinegar combo and swears it doesn't work, although I'm happy with it. Just thought search out my other options.
TIA

The only chemical I use is Murphy's oil soap. We have hardwood floors and I wash them in Murphys and just quickly wet-mop them afgterwards. I'm sure I"m not getting out a bunch of chemicals, but it just makes me feel better to do it. I really like Murphys. it does a wonderful job cleaning AND protecting my floors and it's not loaded with bleach or ammonia and such.
I have read that tea works really well, though I don't remember whether or not a clear water "rinse" mopping is required.

My husband just uses plain water. He swabs it w/a sponge mop and hand dries w/a towel.

My mom said that Martha Stewart recommends spot cleaning only for wood floors. (I'm sure that a thorough scrubbing once or 2X a year isn't out of the question).

Since our entire 1st floor is wood, that is what we're doing now.
