I am using this monitor. Can I become pregnant during the high fertility days? I mean, I know I can but what are the chances? Do I have to wait until I see the egg on the monitor?? My dh goes back to work tonight and I will probably miss those peak days. I could try and squeeze it in during the day but who knows. Dh works at night. For what its worth...I am on cycle day 13. Today I feel sort of crampy. Almost like my period is due any day. I have never paid attention to when I O so I don't know what I should be feeling. I had a miscarraige last month and had the HSG test last week to make sure everything was ok and my tubes were not blocked. Everything was fine and I was told to go home and start trying. This test also helps with fertlity so I am hoping to catch it this month and become pregnant.

Thanks for any advice!!

I'm 39 and trying for my first. We've been doing NFP for a couple months now, and tracking fertility with mucus and temperature signs. I also use the ovulation tests. What is this monitor for?

The monitor calculates your LH and Estrogen levels to let you know when your high and peak fertile days are. I have been ttc for more than a year and a half and just started using mine this cycle and I have a feeling I might be preggo.

I only had 1 high day, and that was after my 2 peak days.

Whoa! Fingers crossed!

I guess the monitor is something a doctor prescribes - we have only really been charting and trying for 2 months now. I haven't done as much homework as I ought - the different hormone cycles just confuse me.

It's weird, though, for the past two cycles I start to get pregnancy signs (dislike of coffee, fatigue, that inexpressible "mommy" feeling) at the end of the cycle, but then the period just shows up again regular as the mail.

Good luck to us both this month!

We use the monitor as well - got mine here at the tp, and did get pg within a few months of using it (only to mc) but, we would bd as much as possible around the high and peak times. I dont think its quite an exact science, and sperm can live for some time...

And I had an HSG the month I got pg with my DS! BD as much as possible - I am convinced that it help us have DS. (no blockages or abnormalitities - I think it played with the uterine cilia enough to make a good sticky!

to you!
