My 11 mo is climbing now. She wants to climb on everything. It's cute and funny and I love it. My question is... I would like to buy her something that she can climb on... some sort of climbing toy? Right now I have her little camping chair pulled up next to the bed. She climbs onto the chair and looks out the window and then onto the bed and back off again. She also climbs on the coffee table and she tries to climb on other things but isn't able to yet. Any suggestions?

Same here. Our home is completely flat w/o any steps. I wish we had some. My DS climbs on DH's guitars. I'll be coming back for suggestions and :

My baby just turned a year old and my entire house is a big play yard

I have a large rubbermaid bin at one end of the couch (full of the 10 year old's legos). There is a recliner on the other side of the bin. On the other side of the couch is another rubbermaid bin, this one filled with the puppy's food.

The baby climbs all around up and down, climbs onto a bin and dives over the arm of the couch... it's like being at the park

The other day he climbed onto the second shelf of the bookshelf and crouched up there with the books.

He also climbs on the bottom rungs of the kitchen chairs. They are heavy wood and are kept tucked in next to the table so he hasn't actually discovered climbing onto them, fortunately.

He loves to climb somewhere unlikely and scream in delight while looking at me, obviously proud of his cleverness :

I just read a thread in the toddlers forum about climbing tots right after I posted this. Apparently it gets worse and doesn't end anytime soon... hehe. I did get some good suggestions from that thread though. I'm thinking about getting her a small slide for indoors. Does anyone know where to get one that isn't MIC?
