Do babies tend to get clingier all of a sudden around 7 months? DS just turned 7 months and I think that's what's going on with him. It's funny because he also loves to play on the floor and crawl around, so I'll be holding him and he'll insist on being put down, and then 2 minutes later he'll be crawling into my lap again and raising his arms asking to be picked up and hugged and kissed. He also just figured out that peek-a-boo is really, really funny. Seems to me that I read somewhere about clinginess and peek-a-boo being part of the same developmental stage?
Us, us! Ds is 7 1/2 months, and he started with major major separation anxiety a couple weeks ago. He's otherwise happy and secure, though, so we're just trying to hold him as much as he wants while we're home.
