Hi there ! I apologize if this was already posted, but today I got an issue of BabyTalk in the mail, and much to my surprise it had CLOTH DIAPERS in it! I don't have it in front of me, but basically they were listing all their editors picks in various categories, and there were Kushies ($50 for 5, or something like that) in the diaper category!!! They even had a picture of them! Granted they were right under Huggies or some other disposable, but still!!! WOOHOO!!! :
Just imagine if all those uninformed 'sposie mamas had gotten a gander of some Angel Wraps or other truly beautiful WAHM dipes! But still, Kushies is better than nothing!
I think I will send them an e-mail thanking them for putting cloth in such a mainstream mag, and maybe send them a few links, too
.

XOXO

I saw it too!

I knew you mamas would see it and someone would start a thread.

I think it's really great for cloth to make it into a mainstream rag. I really distain those parenting mags that are 100% funded by Diaper Genie and Enfammil and therefore mailed free to parents, but I always read mine to get a feel for what's going on "out there", away from the lovely haven of MDC and my LLL playgroup, YKWIM?!?!

Look at breastfeeding--wonderful strides in popularity among new moms, and I think cloth dipes will follow suit, gradually, as the word gets out.

I just recently met a newlywed gal, who is TTC, and she was sold on cloth before I ever said 'boo', without even knowing what's available. I also know a guy who convinced his wife to cd when they were pregnant, because he remembers cds with his younger sister and thinks that's the normal way to diaper a baby.

Those are the kind of folks who would see the Kushies in the magazine, and that would really start the hyena ball rolling!!!
