Are there specific brands/mixes of clove oil that should be used, or can I pick up any type of clove oil? Use it straight, or dilute it? Thanks!

ACK DON'T !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put clove oil (the tiniest dab with a cotton ball) on my tooth one night because I had a toothache and OMG THE PAIN. The sensation was like I had gargled bleach. It hurt SO MUCH

YEESH! Thanks for the warning! Anyone else have a good experience with it for DC's teething? What's the magic trick for it to take away pain?

Personally I don't rec. Clove oil UNLESS IT'S HIGHLY DILUTED...I even think the herbs for kids blend is way too strong...I'd stick w/teething tea & homeopathic

Highlands makes a homeopathic gel which our first DS loved. Also good orally is the homeopatic Chamomilla: helps with the crankiness etc.

I would never use clove oil on a baby or child, even if it was EXTREMELY dialuted.
