ACK DON'T !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I put clove oil (the tiniest dab with a cotton ball) on my tooth one night because I had a toothache and OMG THE PAIN. The sensation was like I had gargled bleach. It hurt SO MUCH
Personally I don't rec. Clove oil UNLESS IT'S HIGHLY DILUTED...I even think the herbs for kids blend is way too strong...I'd stick w/teething tea & homeopathic

Best of Luck
Highlands makes a homeopathic gel which our first DS loved. Also good orally is the homeopatic Chamomilla: helps with the crankiness etc.

I would never use clove oil on a baby or child, even if it was EXTREMELY dialuted.
