I was wondering about getting a rail for our bed to co-sleep safer , our baby has started to roll some and I am worried he might fall off . I was thinking of moving the bed so one side touches the wall but also thought maybe i should get a rail to help so if he does roll he does not roll into the crack by the wall (hope that made sense) I was just wondering what the best ones were and what other ways i can do that. I have seen that someone on MDC has a link to their site of how they sidecared their crib ,very cool ..so any other suggestions Thanks

we have done a variety of different things, at different times. sidecarring the crib didn't really work for us since ds wouldn't sleep in it (i think the mattress was too uncomfortable). i have also had my bed in a corner. when this was the arrangement i used a body pillow at the head of the bed, since he had a tendancy to scoot up in his sleep. i used a rolled up comforter along the side against the wall. for the times we have used a bed rail, we use this one: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...256208.2256218 it locks on top of the mattress so there is no crevice.

we also put the mattress right on the floor for some time. once ds could get on and off the mattress by himself we put the box spring back.
