I recently started taking CLO (I have the Blue Ice brand, cinnamon flavor) and I keep burping it after I take it. It's hard to take (it makes me gag!), but to keep tasting it over and over is killing me.

Any suggestions? Should I take it on a full stomach? Or an empty one? Does that even matter? Ugh.

Thanks for any help!

I buy the orange flavor of this one. No yucky fish burps yet.
They actually guarantee that you won't have that problem.

http://www.nordicnaturals.com/

Some people I know take it right before bed to prevent the burps. I don't get them so it's not an issue for me. I take the exact same stuff you do. I take it with a full meal, so maybe that helps? It gets camoflauged with the rest of the meal?

I don't know about the kind you take, but I take Nordic Naturals Orange flavor with a little oj to chase it every am. I have never had a problem. Maybe it's the cinnamon?

I second taking it right before bed. I do this and chase it with some raw milk. The milk really gets the taste out of my mouth fast. Taking a sip of milk before downing the CLO helps also since the milk coats the tastebuds. I wouldn't switch brands. Blue Ice is one of the best. The WAPF only recommends a few brand and Nordic Naturals is not one of them:

http://www.westonaprice.org/basicnut...fications.html

Will taking it right before bed help me sleep??!! Thanks for the replies. I will definitely try the milk before and after, right before bed.

(I've been taking magnesium supplements too to help me sleep - I slacked off for a few days and am back to not sleeping well... I'm back on them and hoping to get some sleep tonight!!)
