So tonight I spent way too many hours reading this blog. Gotta get some sleep, but first had to post this here.

Javeed Sukhera is a Canadian Muslim of Pakistani descent who is currently in Israel doing his medical internship, after several years of medical school at Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva. His journals are fascinating reading. He doesn't sugarcoat anything, but neither does he rant. The posts are extraordinarily thoughtful and hopeful and really just wonderful reading.

So was wondering, does anyone here also have any journals or blogs to share that are good coexistence learning sources? We're talking anywhere in the world, where there are peoples at odds or unknown to each other, learning about the other and learning to live together. There must be more ...

And please, no propoganda or ranting sites.

Okay, so editing to add the site of a friend which is neither blog or journal, but it is dedicated to specifically coexistence and peacemaking efforts. I found this site

Initiative for Inclusive Security

Relating to Israel/Palestine it highlights these two interesting women:

Sumaya Farhat-Naser, Palestine

Terry Greenblatt, Israel

Lots of other coexistence stuff on that site. I am most interested in the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict as I have a dear friend whose dh has designed a joint border station between these two countries with the goal of it serving as a place where people can come together and learn about each other.
