My 9 month old has a fever, won't sleep, won't eat. It just started today. Now I feel a little achey. Is there anything we can do to nip this in the bud and encourage the rest of the family to avoid it?

I usually take sodium ascorbate.The kids like vitC and zinc lollipops.I also give herbs for kids tinctures(variety).
Got to healthy.net and type in cold or flu for more ideas.
