Ok--last night I felt a wet spot on my nightie next to my nipple. Pulled my nightie up and gave a little squeeze and sure enough it was colostrum! I'm only just 8 weeks (tomorrow). DS stopped nursing a few months back and I stopped pumping a few weeks after (long, sad story). Is that why colostrum leakage has already begun? It didn't happen until the 7th month of pregnancy with DS. And now my breast tenderness feels like milk let-down. I know alot of you are still nursing
, but is it possible to relactate during pregnancy?

My understanding is that milk production doesn't ENTIRELY go away until about half a year after the last nursing/pumping, so between how recently you weaned and it being a second pregnancy, that wouldn't surprise me.

How cool for you! I'm so, so looking forward to lactation!

We weaned this past Christmas, and my friend and her newborn visited a couple of weeks ago - and I was definitely getting letdown sensations every time her baby nursed. Dunno if there is much in there (I never could hand express!!), but I expect it won't take my bbs long to remember what to do, LOL...
