I grew a full cup-size in just a few weeks & my nipples are already leaking droplets of colostrum. I'm only 20 wks...is this normal? If not, what does it mean?<br><br>
PS-My grandma said this wasn't normal...she makes me worry for no reason most of the time tho.<br><br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/img/vbsmilies/smilies/winner.jpg" style="border:0px solid;" title="BFSymbol">

I got colostrum at 25 weeks. My mw thought is was wierd but nothing was wrong. It came a went throughout the rest of pregnancy but I could always express some if I tried. By the way I don't recommend it. The more you express, the more your body makes! Everything is fine, just another variation of normal.

Having colostrum is normal.. so is not having any until the baby comes. Every body is different and develops differently. I don't have to even try hard to get anything out lately, just the right amount of accidentally pressure makes my breasts spill forth. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> With my first it started very early and I had NO CLUE what it was. I think I've been able to get some out this time pretty early but can't remember an exact week. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"> HTH

had it since week 18, too. it hasn't gotten worse or increased. i am sure it's totally normal. just freaky to finally see my boobs DO something! i'm 32 weeks now.
