I am wondering what people think of the Compass Folding Booster Car Seats. It looks like the true fit but in a booster seat style. The like the idea and I am very interested. It sucks that it is not yet available in Canada and I hope it is soon

Does anyone own one of these and if so what are your thoughts? I like the idea and I am very interested.

DS has been in one for about 18 months. He really likes it and is comfortable. It folds up nicely. We have a problem keeping the belt in the belt path though so I have to check it every time ds gets in the car.

They are good boosters, but like all seats, have their pros and cons.
In general,.they do NOT fit smaller booster-riders well. These are really not the boosters for you if you are putting your smaller 4-5-6 year old kid into a booster right when they hit 30-40 pounds. For older, bigger, kids, they tend to fit well....but each model has a different top height, and like was said, only a couple of them go very high.

My niece H is in one. She loves it...says it is super comfy. She didn't move into it until she was 5 and 40-something pounds and very tall and she fit into it very well.

We have Compass B510 boosters in dh's car (back up) and love them. Both kids fit in them really well, we don't have any problems with the belt path. They both say they are really comfortable. I love that I can fold them up when needed. To me they also feel really solid, for a booster. We tried out so many boosters that just felt cheap and flimsy.
