I just found out I had a m/c... a week after I found out I was pregnant (1st pregnancy). I was about 4 weeks 5 days pregnant.

A few questions...
1.How long does it usually take until you get your next period?
2.Do you usually ovulate after that period, or does it take longer?
3.Does your cycle remain the same length (mine was very short since I got off the pill) Will it likely remain the same amount of days, or will it be different now?
4.How long should you wait until having sex again after a m/c? Is there a certain amount of time that isn't healthy for your body? Or healthy to conceive?

Thanks for your feedback!

I had a MC at 12.5 weeks.
My first cycle was weird, I bled, then stopped, spotted, then bled again, spotted, etc.
My first cycle was 30 days (normal for the most part, they are 28 usually).
I ovulated on CD19 and was still getting VERY VERY faint BFPs until 4 DPO.
I started temping right away, as I always chart.
We had sex about 2 weeks after, in between days of spotting.
i think if your cervix is open you might want to watch for infection if you are still bleeding, but at 4-5 weeks that might not be an issue.
and so sorry for your loss mama.

ETA - My LP was shorter that first cycle but by my 3rd cycle it was back up to 14 days.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss

My second miscarriage was at 9 weeks, I had a d&c and AF took two months to return. My cycle didn't really change in that it was still very long, but I used OPKs and ovulated as normal. Then my third miscarriage was at 4/5 weeks - i didn't need a d&c and ovulated earlier that cycle and conceived my current pregnancy (baby).

So, I don't believe in waiting to conceive - that would have been too much for me emotionally. I would suggest that when you are ready to try again, use OPKs and your temperature checking and so on and good luck

I had an early m/c last December right at 5 weeks. It was very much like a normal period, maybe even a bit lighter. I ovulated when I normally do in my cycle, around cd20 .. I didn't get pregnant that cycle, but we didn't avoid. I was charting and counted the first day of my m/c as the first day of my period. I did get pregnant the very next cycle with the baby I'm carrying now.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Sorry, mama!

My CD 1 was the labor part of my natural m/c, I passed the placenta like 3 days later. I ovulated CD 15 like nothing ever happened. I can't answer the other questions as we decided to TTC immediately same cycle and now we're on the 2WW, 7dpo.
