Does sitting upright help congestion? My babe is really congested. We just got over 4 new teeth in 2 weeks and now she has a cold. I want to make her sleep as good as I can but whenever I lay her down I feel so bad for her. So I have had her sleeping in the sling for the past hour. It seems like she is breathing a little easier this way. Should I just go to sleep like this? The only problem is if I lay her down she will nurse more which I think will help her cold. If I keep her in the sling she will probably go a couple of hours with out nursing? Any ideas?

also when my arms gets really uncomfortable from ds sleeping on it too long at night, I prop his head on a hard little pillow right next to me.
also sometimes right before bed i do a steaming: ds and i go in the bathroom and run the shower on hot to get steam going. we are outside the shower. he loves watching the water fall from the shower and his nasal passages get opened a bit more. during this time i pat his back several times in attempts to loosen the congestion.
lately, we've been sleeping with a cold mist humidifer on too.
