Rather than replying individually to all these new birth stories, I thought I'd just pop this in on the top and say WOOHOO to all you new mommies in the August DDC!!! And those of you still waiting -- enjoy the last little bits of the bonding time with baby inside. Once they come out, you have to share them with other people.

We're doing great at home ... babymoon is blissful, we have the help we need, he took quickly to the breast and is healthy and thriving. I have the rest of my life to process what went wrong with my birth experience, but this first month of my son's life is magical and special, and everything I went through to get him here pales in comparison to how wonderful it is to have him.
Yay babies, and yay mommies and daddies!
