Constant Diaper Rash?

699 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  lori810
My 2 1/2 month old dd has constant rash on the front of her private area (I guess you could say the pubic area?) It seems to be being caused by her urine on her skin (even though I change very frequently). When I use diaper rash cream it is better and for some reason when I put her in a sposie it cleared up completely (which really makes me think its the urine on her skin-she does have slightly sensitive skin).
Any suggestions?

Fleece liners are only very slightly helping.

Have you tried changing detergents? my DD had the same problem and I discovered the biggest problem was the detergent I was using.

No I haven't. Her rash began about 2 weeks ago so I did try to use less detergent, but I didn't see a differnece. I might use the All Free and Clear that I use for the rest of the laundry but I have a lot of fleece.

I'll give it a try at the next diaper change. Thanks
I hate to sound like a broken record but Triple Paste Cream (available online or special order at pharmacies, but it is not prescription) wprks AMAZINGLY well. We battled diaper rash for months and months and it's the only thing that worked.
