I'm told I HAVE to start using a differnt brand, I think it's a sales pitch any one kno the differences in brands?

Why do you have to switch brands? I have acuvue oasys. I like them.

I've had a doc recommend a switch that seemed legitimate. I've also had a doc just want to switch my script because that is what he used.

When they provided a good explanation, I switched and was very happy with the switch.

When they didn't, I insisted on a script for the contacts I was already using. Then I never went back to that office.

Again- why are they saying you have to switch them? My Dr never told me I have to switch in all the 6 years I been wearing contacts. I changed kinds a few years ago cause I wanted to, but he never said anything about having to.

I use Acuvue Oasys and they are great! I used Acuvue 2 before and I can tell a big change in the oxygen. I have never used freshlook so I cant tell you the difference there would be in them.

Some lenses become incompatible with your eyes.

That is why the doctor looks at your eyes with the little magnifying machine.

My eyes were creating too much protein and I had to be switched several times before we found something safe.
