we have a hand me down palm pilot my brother gave me. we barely use it...BUT, dh found a contraction timer that is just awesome. it makes timing contractions nearly effortless (okay, what i mean is brainless! hee hee.). if you have a palm, check this out! its freeware:

DH used this application when I went into labor with my daughter. It got to a point, though, where I had to tell him to put it down and pay attention to me, instead!

But it was useful in the beginning.

I swear, if I get knocked up again and anyone breathes a WORD of this to my DH there will be big trouble. Techno-geek was all over his stop watch. Jotting this and that... I'm like, "Dude! Contraction! Comfort measures???" And Mr Spock says "But this contraction wasn't due for another 4.7 seconds... Fascinating."

I exagerate, but I was glad when transition started and any attempt at timing became moot.
