I am looking to buy a convertible car seat for my 2 month old. Right now we are borrowing a Peg Perego infant seat from my SIL, but my LO hates it! The problem is my car is fairly small and most convertible seats are quite large. Any recommendations? I drive a 2007 Subaru Impreza Wagon; although the 2004-2007 models I think are the same. And of course, the seat needs to fit rear-facing. I was looking into maybe a SK Radian because it is narrow and might fit between the front seats. Thanks for any help!

You'll probably be surprised at what will fit. The TrueFit does very well in small spaces, though it only goes to 35lbs. If the Radian fits, that would be really great! If not, the Comfort Air might once you can install it a bit more upright (probably at 4-6 months when the babe gets some head control). Or the MyRide...

Most convertible seats fit fine in most cars if you can either move the front seat up a bit (the adult passenger is small or can ride in the back next to the baby) or you can install the seat more upright (once baby has head control).
