Hi! I'm making anise crescent cookies from a recipe in Cooking Light mag.

There were no high altitude directions.

The dough is crumbly and won't roll into little logs so I can make the crescent shape.

Ugh. What can I do so I won't have wasted all the ingredients?

What is the recipe?

Some possible things that might work are increasing the liquid and flour. Don't use too much flour, though. (In the future, *reducing* the sugar, baking soda/powder, or fat might also work).

In your case, I'd increase the liquid...start with about 2 Tablespoons.

PS...I used to live in Zuni (about 40 miles south of Gallup, and at 6,000+ feet)
