What I find funny is that it states there have been 515 deaths in a 7 year span. Wow! Lets alert the media. (Oh wait, they already have.
) That's a whole 73 or so a year. I wonder how many babies die each year alone in their cribs? Its odd that I am not able to easily find these studies. Why are people relying on studies done by a crib manufacturer? That would be like getting bfing info from a formula manufacturer. I just don't get it.

Yeah, what about the thousands of babies (like mine) who have never slept anywhere but in my bed. Co-sleeping can and is done safely everyday!

You know I would not be so against crib sleeping if they would recommend that the crib always be in the parent's room and that it not be more than 5 feet from the parent's bed or something. But it is not safe for a baby to be in another room! Where are the studies on that?
