When my DD was getting her two bottom teeth (the only ones she has so far), she had a bit of a runny nose and a bit of coughing. I associated both with the teething. It could've been a coincidence, but she never had any other symptoms of being sick and shortly after the teeth arrived, the symptoms subsided. Go with your gut though.
coughing from teething?
Our DD is 6 month and has two teeth (not fully up). She also has a cough. She does not cough all day, more in sperts. It is sort of a dry, in throat like if you had a hair in your throat.

Yep that sounds normal. When DD's first 2 started in, she had a dry cough now and then. I think it's from all the extra drool -- as much as manages to go down the chin, there's even more running down the throat, and I think it just makes a tickle sometimes.
If there's no other symptoms, you probably don't have anything to worry about.
