I stopped nursing my twins about a year ago and am now expecting again - du in April. When I stopped nursing, I had a mild case of trush. I didn't worry about treating it after I stopped nursing b/c I could really only feel it when I nursed. I'm now wondering if I might still have the trush - only that I don't feel it b/c I'm not nursing. I want nursing to get off to as good a start as possible so if there's a chance that I still have trush, I want to address that in advance.
Thanks for your input. There's so much great knowledge on this board!!!

Hmmm I would think that your nipple would still be sore if you still had thrush. I remember when I had it, even when I wasn't nursing my nipple would feel like it was burning. Don't probiotics help with thrush?

Did you have ductal thrush or was it on the nipple/areola? You could try probiotics and yogurt and cut out refined sugars.

Sorry for my ignorance, but what are probiotics and where do I get them?
I love yogurt, so that's no problem. Unfortunately, I also have a real sweet tooth. Guess I should try to get that under control.
