Today is my 14 DPO. Normally my period come on 12 or 13 DPO. Still no sign of period when I woke up this morning, BBT still high. Took this test with a cheap HPT bought from pharmacy. It's not showing a BFP, but is there a chance that it's a faint +ve????

That looks like a second line to me, and most of the time I can't see the faint positives people post.

Thank you all for your supportive comments.

We went to the doctor this afternoon and unfortunately it's too early for him to give me a confirmation. I did a test at his clinic and it turned out -ve though he agreed that my HPT is a +ve. He gave me 5 tests to take home and for testing the alternate next few days until the test shows a BFP.

So here we are still living in suspense. Just hope that we won't lose our sleep for the next few days!

That's not a very nice doctor to keep you waiting when a quick blood test would tell you...

but that is very VERY very very much a positive... it's darker than my first positive with my daughter was by a LOT

Thank you again for leaving your comments. It means a lot at this point of time to hear from you all who been through a similar situation.

We could not contained ourselves last night and definitely could not settle for the word of the doctor so we decided to invest in Clear Blue just to have a peace of mind. It was worth every penny! I'll let the evident speak for itself...

Unfortunately the clinics here (I am from Malaysia BTW, East Malaysia, North of Borneo) only use urine test and scan to confirm a pregnancy. Being at this early stage nothing is shown in the scan, and the urine test was done yesterday afternoon and the kit used was definitely not as good as Clear Blue! Doctor did mention that it might be too early to detect in a blood test. We are not sure if that is true or not. He didn't even try!

Well, thanks to Clear Blue. It has certainly clear our blues away but didn't give us our sleep back though because we are over excited with the result. (We have been TTC for #1 since Aug 2008 and just couldn't believe that it has finally happened to us!)

This is a nice website that I stumbled upon through Google search engine. I have been reading a lot of threads and gained lots of knowledge about TTC from it. This is the first time I post a thread. It would certainly not be my last.

Your test at the drs probably can back -ve because you went in the afternoon and the urine wasn't as concentrated. Exact same thing happen to me. Wishing you a happy and healthy nine months!!
