I ordered the cranberry cover from Sugarpeas and I've been thinking about it ever since. Could it bleed onto other things? Most of my fleece has been pale colors on AIOs that were previously gently used, never new so I'm curious. Should I do anything special to lock in the color when it comes?

Fleece isn't dyed, the fibers are already that color. (I think) Someone will probably come on and tell me I'm a retard, but that's what I am under the impression of. I have a dark purple WP fleece cover and it does not bleed.

but I have had red windpro bleed before.... On their site they say it won't happen but it did happen to me and also to customers. I had 20 yds of that too. No amount of soaking got it to stop so I used what was left for a blanket.....

That is so weird. I thought fleece was plastic fiber that already came in the color that it was. I gues the dye they use to dye the plastic leaks from the fiber with red?

yup, reds can bleed for a loooooooooooong time. i haven't had a problem with my china red windpro bleeding but my red 100wt and red funky monkey have always bled. i've washed them about 500 times i swear. lol i've given up and i just won't use them for diapers. maybe a blankie someday.
