I'm starting to wonder if the country save is giving ds a rash. I don't know if I'm not getting it all rinsed out or what the problem is. But its getting really nasty. I was washing his clothes in it too but now I'm starting to see spots on his belly too.

Anyone have issues w/country save?

Hi Tabitha,

I use the generic equivalent of Country Save - it is called Natural Value, and if I don't get it rinsed out dd's get's a red, blotchy rash. She does get a few bumps on her tummy too. I'm pretty sure that my hard water & using a FL have something to do with making the rinsing particularly difficult. I just pulled my first Calgon load of diapers out of the dryer, so I'll have to see if that helps at all.

Gosh, I hope I won't have a problem too. I just washed all the diapers and baby clothes in Country Save. I did notice that even though I use less than the recommended amount that there's still suds in the rinse so I had to rinse several times. I think I'll only use a tiny amount in hopes that it will rinse completely the first time. Subbing to see what others say...

My baby has very sensitive skin and I have used Country Save on everything since he was born. I would think that any detergent will cause irritation if it's not all rinsed out. You could try an extra rinse?
