I think we should start a "coupon code' thread.

Is this an okay thing to do, sharing coupon codes in a public forum? I mean, the MDC-specific ones I can see as being okay, but what about the others? What if those were meant for returning customers, or something like that?
I really think permission should be asked before coupon codes are shared - and if permission has been granted, say so in the post.

I agree. I think the post should be changed to: "Places that offer an MDC discount" or something like that. It's not really fair to be sharing these codes if they weren't meant to be public knowledge.

I found my codes on the internet. SO i figured it was public...
I was thinking it would bring more business to the wahms. (people tend to buy more if they have a discount and shop at places they normaly wouldnt...knwim?)
Plus its helping the mdc mothers get more for their money...

Well, if you found them, then I guess they're public knowledge. I just wanted to make sure - I know many many WAHM's (myself included) who would not be able to offer discounts to everyone, so I was just pointing out that you need to be careful what you post.
