I love Bummis, so easy and sturdy, without being stiff. I thought I wanted to go with the snaps, but I've turned into a velcro lover. It's easier to get it just the right size, especially with a newborn. We had 6 covers for newborn and small, as well as a couple of nighttime diapers.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bummis Super Snap covers.

I have 1 Thirsties and she rips it off in 1.5 seconds after I put it on, plus it doesn't seem waterproof enough to hold a ton of pee. It is adorable and holds poop in well, though.

I wish the Swaddlebees ABC came in snaps.

I like the thirsties for a smaller less mobile baby. When baby get bigger, I like bummis better. They are too stiff for a wee one, IMO.

I really LOVED bummis originals when DD was super tiny. Bummis SWW are great too

I've only used Bummis SWW and wool covers. I am very satisfied with the combination but I only started using prefolds and covers exclusively recently for my toddler ds. I have some newborn proraps and wool covers and we'll see how those work for a smaller baby.

i have bummis SWWs, i like the velcro better than the snaps--but i like Imse Vimse Bumpys even more. they are a bit more expensive but worth it IMO, they give a better fit/more leak protection, they have gussets and a wider velcro strip. Right now we have only prefolds with:
2 imse vimse bumpys
2 Bummis SWWs
2 handknit wool soakers (nice for nitetime or under a dress)
1 FMBG i *just* got
1 Mai Mai BB wool wrap that is nearly too pretty to use!

the bumpys are in heavy rotation, and the bummis are honestly the last i reach for. JMTC

Exactly! I only use thirsties with our prefolds now, but I have a future stash of bummis. XS thirsties work great with a tri-fold now (about 12-13 pounds), and we use the small ones to go over fitteds.

I have about five BSWW and two hand knit covers a soaker and shorties. I am not liking Bummis so far they are really stiff and rub DS. I have recently decided that knit wool soakers are the best. I don't trifold, I learned how to do the jelly roll and really like it. Snappis are super easy to use too. I was considering getting some Stacinators.

I really like my Bummis, they are great. However, I think I found some I like better. I have been using Bum-Ware covers and I like the snap system because I will get more use out of them (the mediums go for 10-23 pounds) and they are not stiff at all.

www.bum-ware.com

Yeah, I don't see why you couldn't tri-fold with these, but I have never tried it. I use snappis. Anyway, I don't know what is up with the site, it wasn't working for me either, but I know that is the right link.

BSWW for us in the daytime (or sometimes wool shorties), Aristocrats at night. We snappi, though my husband occasionally pad-folds.

I find I get a better fit with the Aplix, which is funny because I actually prefer Fuzzi Bunz (snaps) when it comes to pockets!
