What's a good use for the little bits of crackers left at the bottom of the box that no one wants? Would they be a good substitute for bread crumbs?

Yep. Chicken is great fried in cracker crumbs.

They're good in meatloaf. You can use them as a breading on anything fried, chicken, fish or chicken fried steak.

I was going to say meatloaf or add them to soup.
