my dd (4 months) has terrible cradle cap. we keep doing the oil on the head and then comb and scrub it off. We will do this for a few days in a row. It might go away for a few days, but then comes right back. Right now scales are covering her entire head. Is there some other way to help get rid of it? Im willing to give anything a try that wont hurt her.

Honestly, cradle cap doesn't hurt babies to have it, so maybe you don't need to scrape it off so often. My daughter had it and I just combed it out now and then and she basically grew out of it. Even at 16 she's a bit scaly but it was never like it was as an infant.

Did anyone else's baby just grow out of the worst of it?

I've noticed that kids who had cradle cap grow into adults with seborrheic dermatitis. I get this. It can be a bit itchy but thats it. Doesn't hurt unless it gets picked at.
