All day long I've felt funny. Like pains in my back. I'm only 18 weeks, I had movement last night. Now I feel sort of nauseous. It's weird. I'm not constipated, and I am hungry now, but still don't feel like eating.

Any suggestions?

I called and got my doc's medical assistant, I'm going home to rest. She says if it gets worse, or doesn't go away with resting to call them back. So thats what I'm doing!

Sounds like a sensible way to proceed!

For what it's worth, right around 20 weeks I had several days in a row where I felt like my period was just about to start, and it freaked me out. You know, a kind of low sick ache? I called the advice nurse and she told me this is normal at around that time, and as long as I wasn't having sharp pains or any discharge or contractions that I should just stay very well hydrated and rest. I think that resting, drinking lots of water, paying attention to how you feel, and calling your midwife/doctor/nurse/care provider for advice is probably the best you can do!
