<p>so my usual cranberry sauce recipe calls for toasted walnuts, orange zest & ginger. i'm thinking about switching out the walnuts for pecans this year. has anyone ever done pecans in their cranberry sauce before? what do you think, good combo or not?</p>

<p>I love pecans and we frequently have them in cranberry based dishes around here.  In fact I prefer pecans to walnuts in most things, cranberry or otherwise.  My mom makes a cranberry relish with apples and oranges and pecans and of course cranberries all whizzed up in the food processor.  It's yummy.</p>
