Hi. I'm not sure if I'm being any help, but ds (he is 9 mos now) has been seeing a chiro since 6 weeks of age for reflux. I'm not sure what techniques he's using on him, but it's worked wonders!! He's been off meds since the end of November with no signs of reflux. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"><br><br>
Hope that helps at least a little... <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/winky.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Wink">

there's an echo here <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/lol.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="lol"> i took ds2 to the chiro and it cured him <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up"> after 4 months of reflux...took 4 adjustments in total, 1 per week...the first 3 I could tell after a week that he needed another one. However right after the first adjustment it was essentially gone; the follow ups were just to support the adjustment until everything stayed where it should.

DD has been going to the chiro since she was born. She had nasty reflux/projectile vomiting/colic at first. It took one visit to fix the reflux and projectile vomiting and a second visit for the colic. After that she became an easy going and happy baby. She is always smiling and pretty content for a 6 month old. We thought we had a super high-needs baby at first. But, I guess really it was just some funky spots in her spine, and some spots out of place in her cranium. The difference in her behavior and attitude after having him do cranial work was amazing.

DD2 has been in for 3 visits and is going back in next week, she has had other issues besides the reflux that we are working on as well. It's been wonderful.

Craniosacral therapy can definitely help reflux. I took DS to have craniosacral therapy done to help with both a poor latch as well as reflux. I'd say he had maybe 5 treatments, but some kids respond much quicker.
