Truthfully I have been finding a light blanket is great. I have been using this pattern a bit modified. The last time I made it with this yarn and it came out as a PERFECT summer blanket.
Cool, thanks! I love to try new patterns and that looks great. Although....I have never added different colors, do you cut off the color A when you add color B, then cut off color B when you go back to color A? Thanks for the input!
Ok I double checked the brand of yarn I used and I have used that one, but the last one was the Lionbrand Baby Homespun.
Ok to your question. What I do is on the last stitch of color A, I hold Color B, so it gets used as the Ch 1 stitch. I then run Color A along the the back loops and just use Color B to complete the pattern in row 2. When I get to the first sk next 2 ch, I cut Color A, leaving a bit extra in case I screwed something up and continue. Then I just repeat, does that make sense? If not I can try to take a picture of what I have done.
Ohhhh! Thats a great idea too! I am behind making my baby gifts so I could make several of those for each mama in a hurry! Wouldyou recommend where to get the soap and what kinds? thanks!!
