does anyone know of any crochet patterns for an apron top/ halter similar to the ltk pattern.... free or for sale.

or can you take a knit pattern and translate it to crochet?

you bet

i do this for crocheted socks
almost all stitches have recripocals....almost..not all.
so if its basic yes you can.
just change:
k&p to sc
k2tog&p2tog to dec1
etc....

Oh man is that ever cute, too bad I have no desire to learn to crochet (I love knitting though, and DD is taking a crochet course at Joanns next week, hmmmmm....).
