I need suggestions!

I picked up the hooks again tonight, and it looks like I *may* be able to do it!

Links, freebies... whatever! Please also give your review on the patterns, if available. Specifically:

is it easy to crochet?
how is the fit?
any other suggestions involving the pattern, like alterations needed?

Thanks so much mamas! This is such a friendly forum... I like how everyone is interested in helping and encouraging one another.

There is a crochet pattern here: http://www.borntolove.com/pattern.html
I haven't used it though.

I bought the soaker shorts/pants pattern from http://www.dandeliondreamers.com/. I recommend adding the short rows in the back (pattern will explain!).

I made one soaker straight off the pattern without the short rows and didn't like the fit on my DD. I made another monkeying with the pattern and adding short rows but it was for a friend's son. I liked the way it looked (it was a small and DD is a large so I didn't want to stretch it out!). In addition to adding the short rows, I added a ribbed crotch. There are forums at www.woolywonder.com with an area for crocheters and I found some pictures in there to help with the ribbing.

HTH?
