If the directions say to cook on low for 8-10hours, can you cook it on high for a faster cook and what hours would that equal to? I forgot to put a meal in the CP earlier and now I don't have 8-10hours, suggestions?

Yes, you can cook it on high for half the time.

Yup, high is basically twice as fast as low. So, if it says 8-10 hours on low, that's 4-5 hours on high.
