Anyone got an answer to this question? TIA!

these all relate to the knitting of the 'bodice' part of the dress

#1 in Row 7 (the bead row) the pattern reads: " K2, *with yarn in front sl2 purlwise TBL, K4 reapeat from * to last 4 stiches, Sl2 purlwise, K2. So should the yarn be in front for the last two stitches that don't get sliped tbl?

It seems to me that the yarn should be in front and that a bead should be placed there (if you are beading each time you do this row).

no answer - but I'm taking notes.

I loved the pattern - but I just can't master it. I don't have a lot of experience with cables or beading. I have some, but not a lot. I just never got the hang of it. I tried to start with a practice doll dress of 40 stitches in the round, too.

When I made Crumpets, I didn't bead it, but I did have the yarn in front for the slipped stitches you are talking about. There were a couple of things in the pattern that weren't completely clear, but it still turned out super cute! Here is mine and a closer pic of the smocking is here.

Yes and yes! I really enjoyed working with it too.
